"Where do we start, talking about dreams?!"
Dreams of campers and yurts in the woods. We joined 'HIPCAMP' in 2024 and started offering the opportunity for people to come camp on the farm.
We have two Yurts, each one can accommodate up to five cots (provided). A site with up to two bohemian style tents from 'Natural Life' furnished with bedding. A site for larger RV's. And currently six bring your own tent campsites.
All sites have a picnic table, fire ring, tiki torch and supply of wood. We have a modern Porta Potty that is emptied every week and cleaned every day. The end of 2024 we added a propane fueled shower that provided both hot and cold water. Or, for a small fee campers can come inside the house and use an indoor shower.
For $12.50 campers can enjoy a cooked breakfast and fresh fruit. We also offer a Charcuterie Board, variety of evening meals and a 'To-Go' packed lunch.

Everyday fresh coffee, tea, hot cocoa, cider and a variety of light snacks are available for free (donations welcome), on the back porch.
An Education / Experience Destination. A place the general public, campers, schools, elder and special needs care facilities can come visit. Meet all the livestock and pets. Plant some seeds in pots they can take home.

And an open invitation to all egg clients to come and meet the chickens, ducks, geese that provide the eggs they are buying. They are a friendly and inquisitive bunch.
We currently have 10 barn cats. All rescues and except for the newest two additions who are still getting to know everyone, the rest are super friendly. And by super, I mean SUPER. They have been missing having a constant flow of adoring fans that come with having campers. So, we have set up a space in the Poly Tunnel with carpet, tables and chairs, cat towers, hot drinks and snacks, and heaters.

All the cats are vaccinated, fixed and get monthly flea, tick, and medication. And they are just waiting for some human company and snuggles.

We've decided not to charge for this experience, but a suggested donation of $5 would be much appreciated. That said, if that's not something you can afford, come out anyway.

While we welcome drop-in visits, we suggest you call or text prior to stopping by to make sure we're around and if applicable have the eggs / produce you want available: (269) 539-2720.
While a lot of work has been done over the past three years, there is still a lot more to do to get where we want to be. We hope you’ll join us on our journey, whether just virtually, meeting at a local Farmers Market, or paying us a visit on the farm.
